A Single Partner Across Five Sites

Following NRG’s acquisition of Pump Gyms, Design Business Interiors was appointed to deliver a coordinated fit-out programme across five sites at once, managed centrally from a single point of contact.

A Consistent Brand Standard

Every location was delivered to the same NRG specification — feature chevrons, faux-neon signage, ladies-only zones, custom prowler tracks and aqua LED lighting — ensuring members experience one consistent brand wherever they train.

Minimal Operator Disruption

Works were sequenced and resourced to keep clubs trading and hand each site back cleanly and on programme, protecting membership and revenue throughout the transition.

When NRG acquired Pump Gyms and expanded its national presence, the challenge was clear: bring multiple inherited sites up to a single, unmistakable NRG standard — quickly, consistently, and without losing members during the changeover. Design Business Interiors delivered a simultaneous fit-out programme across Bedford, Norwich, Hatfield, Colchester and Northampton through November and December 2025. Running the sites in parallel rather than in sequence meant a shared design language, shared specification and shared project management across the estate, giving the operator certainty of cost, programme and finish at every location.

Delivered in parallel across November and December 2025, the five-site programme demonstrates Design Business Interiors’ capability to manage a multi-site rollout at pace without compromising on consistency. From a single specification applied estate-wide to careful sequencing that kept clubs trading, each NRG site was handed over to the same exacting standard — giving the operator one partner, one point of accountability, and one brand experience for members nationwide.
